Everyday objects ~ like breakfast! Danny Gregory

The Art of Breakfast from DannyGregory on Vimeo.
Jane LaFazio here. If you've ever heard me talk, or seen my video or even looked at my blog, you know that Danny Gregory is my mentor and a huge influence on my work and frankly, my attitude. (I try to be as generous with my readers as he is with his.)
He's just made this fantastic, inspiration video that is perfect for this month's theme, and well, frankly, it's perfect anytime. Please watch, enjoy, and if you're not already, follow Danny's blog and buy his books. He's the best.

  1. Cool video. I am impressed with his ability to get his lines perfect....I always goof when working with a pen.

Strange thing...the cat, who prefers to sit in front of the monitor while I am on the computer, acutally turned and WATCHED this video....unusual for her...maybe she's an artist at heart...or maybe the whistling was birdlike which made her think of breakfast.

  2. I'm a long time admirer of Danny Gregory. He has helped me lessen the fear of mistakes and just draw it! This is a good reminder to get out his books again!

  4. This was so great. So simple but so solid. I enjoyed the filming/editing and music. But, most of all, the simple act of sitting and looking at what's in front of me! I'm new at this and this made my day. I have ordered one of Dick's books based on an earlier blog I read on Jane's blog. Thanks for featuring this.
