Close-up ~ just one leaf

Jane LaFazio here. I love the theme of 'close-up.' I interpret it as drawing just one leaf, rather than the whole plant, bush or tree.

When I teach, I often start students off with just a single leaf. It helps them to really look closely and try and capture enough detail to depict that unique leaf.

  2. What is a chop? A stamp? Google doesn't help. Do you have to travel to Asia to get one? How could you make one? Anyway I love yours.

  3. A chop is a stamp that's used traditionally in Asia to sign ones name or symbol for themselves. You could make your own, by carving your own stamp. thanks!
