prepare for your artist date

Jane LaFazio here. Before you go on your artist date, how about a quick lesson in painting in watercolor, using a Niji Waterbrush. This was film at CREATE mixed media artist retreat about a year ago, and I just watched it for the first time!

  1. Thanks, this is really good. It is hard to work out how to use watercolours because it is often presumed you have an idea on how to before you start!

Can you tell me what sort of rubber/eraser you used to get rid of the pencil lines? I struggle to find one that doesn't make ugly marks.
    Thanks,

  4. I just got one of these watercolor sets for Christmas. I've never used watercolor before, so this video was great in giving me a quick tutorial on how to use the water brush.
    Thanks so much !

  7. The watercolor set is Sakura Koi Water Colors Pocket Field Sketch Box. Now I use a palette filled with windsor newton and daniel smith paints.
