The Theme for April - Polka Dots

Jamie Fingal popping in to introduce our fun theme for April!  Polka Dots!
It's no surprise how much I love Polka Dots.  I have a large collection of Polka Dot fabrics in my stash

and I love using Polka Dots in my art quilts, like this dress!

and the lower portion of a larger quilt "The Happy Dance," which are my feet!
Airstream Dreaming art quilt - wouldn't you like to take a road trip in this?

and decoupaged on boxes, on a shelf in my studio

and painted on chairs for some extra flair.
and in fabric design for Hoffman California Fabrics
So, let's go for it.  Polka Dots make the world a better place. See what you can create using Polka Dots!  Red ones, purple, pink, green, black, white, yellow, blue - the skies the limit with color and design!  and Happy April Fools day to you!  This is our theme for April, so put on your Polka Dots and let's have some fun!

A Brief History of Polka Dots can be found here, on the Hairpin site
Ready, Set, Go!

The last day of each month we have a slide show of the Sketchbook Challenge Flickr group's work for that month's theme. To have your work in the slideshow at the end of this month, be sure to tag it on flickr with apr351.
